Shadow Girl

Once upon a time there was a girl who was a shadow. A shadow is insufficient, unsubstantial, unoriginal, easily manipulated. A shadow is nothing without its caster.

A shadow is untouchable. A shadow is impossible to capture. A shadow is inescapable. A shadow has power.

But the girl who was a shadow knew only how easily she slipped away when the light was gone.
